WARNING NOTIFICATION OF SHARE SCAM

The Directors of Hydro International plc have recently been made aware that several shareholders in the Company have been approached by people purporting to represent a company called Apollo Tiger Fund plc. Attempts have been made by these people to persuade shareholders to enter into transactions regarding their Hydro International shares.

Apollo Tiger Fund plc is not authorised under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 to conduct a regulated activity in the UK. The FSA has recently published a statement in order to warn investors against dealing with this unauthorised firm which, can be found by clicking on the following link:

We have also been notified about a company called IMS (International Merger Services), which, has the same address and appears to involve the same individuals as Apollo Tiger Fund plc.  Whilst the FSA has not published a warning regarding IMS Hydro has been informed of attempts made by IMS to persuade shareholders to enter into transactions regarding their Hydro International shares. IMS is not authorised under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 to conduct a regulated activity in the UK.

There is also a facility provided where shareholders can report the details of any communication received from unlicensed entities approaching investors in regard to their shareholdings.
