StormBank® Rainwater Harvesting System Features on Channel 4 Grand Designs
StormBank™ Rainwater Harvesting Systems from Hydro International, supplier of water management and SUDS solutions for over 25 years, appeared in a recent episode of the Channel 4 programme, Grand Designs, after being selected by construction company, Talisman Manufacturing Ltd, for the RIBA Future House of London scheme in Dulwich.Hydro supplied 2 No. 3300 litre systems, one for each of the 2 eco timber houses, which will store rainwater collected from the roofs and be used for flushing WCs and external use such as garden watering. Apart from the obvious environmental benefits, the systems could potentially provide up to 50% of the water required for the dwellings and drastically reduce the annual metered water charges.  |
