New SUDS Guidance Document
British Water, in partnership with the Environment Agency, has recently published a "Guidance to proprietary sustainable drainage systems and components - SUDS".  This is intended to be complementary to other current publications, giving comparative information on all of the proprietary (manufactured) SUDS equipment.  The publication was released at the recent ET2005 exhibition and will be reviewed in a series of British Water roadshows.  Please click here for information. 

The Technical Guidance was prepared by one of the British Water Technical Forum Focus Groups, the SUDS Focus Group.  Hydro International initiated the establishment of the Focus Group and has been instrumental in the development of the technical guidance, with Chris Williams chairing discussion sessions and meetings.

 The British Water SUDS Focus Group comprises leading engineering consultancies and most of the companies involved in the manufacture of proprietary SUDS equipment and components excepting paving (see back of guidance publication).  The Environment Agency and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister are also represented on the group.   Copies of the guidance document can be obtained from Hydro International.  Please click here to download a PDF version from the British Water website.
