The Group's  Board of Directors ensures that Hydro International serves the interests of its shareholders and other stakeholders to the highest standard of corporate and social responsibility and values.  The Board also oversees the implementation of the Four Point Strategic Plan designed to deliver sustained growth.

Roger Lockwood has been a non-executive director of Hydro since November 1999, and became Chairman in January 2000.  Roger is an experienced director and is currently Chairman of Rotork plc.  He is also Chairman of Colston Engineering Co. and has previously held CEO roles in engineering and automotive businesses.

Steve joined Hydro in 1980 as a project engineer and has been a central player in the 29 year history, growth and development of the company.  He transferred to the US in 1988 to oversee the day-to-day management of the Portland based US subsidiary and he became Chief Executive Officer in September 2000.

Over the last eight years, Hydro has reported year on year increased sales and profit growth.  This has been achieved by pursuing a structured business plan that concentrates on Hydro's core products and core markets while pursuing opportunities to enter new geographical territories, develop and launch new products and pursue, where appropriate, business and technology acquisitions.

Tony joined Hydro International as Chief Financial Officer (then called Finance Director and Company Secretary) in August 2006. Tony started his career with the accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand in 1988, obtaining his ACA qualification in 1991. Since qualifying Tony has gained extensive experience and a strong track record through progressively more senior finance positions within industry most recently as Finance Director & Company Secretary of Wyvern Waste Services Ltd.

Prof. Robert Y G Andoh
Chief Technology Officer

Bob is the Chief Technology Officer for Hydro International with overall responsibility for product research and development, technical support, intellectual property rights and IT. He joined Hydro in 1992 and has over 25 years of experience in the water industry.

Since joining Hydro, Bob has been instrumental in the positioning of the company's products and is an author and presenter of a significant volume of technical papers relating to urban flooding, sewerage systems and wastewater treatment processes, contributing extensively, on both a national and international basis, at communication events in the field of urban water management. He has also provided inputs as a lecturer on a number of post-graduate courses and is a visiting professor of Liverpool John Moores University.

Bob chaired the Skills and Innovation Task Group of the Trade Partners / DEFRA Water Sector Advisory Group (WSAG) and was named as the ‘Outstanding Individual' in the water and waste treatment sector by the judging panel for the 2003 IWEX Innovation Awards.  Bob has a Civil Engineering degree and an MSc and PhD in Public Health Engineering from Imperial College of Science and Technology, London.

Michael Stevens
Non-Executive Director

Michael is a highly experienced director having spent an executive career in international product industries. Most recently Michael was Managing Director of Linx Printing Technologies plc, where he led the rapid growth of the business into worldwide markets from 1995 until prior to its successful sale in a contested bid in 2004. Before that Michael served in senior executive roles at Lucas Diesel Systems, Renold plc and John Brown plc.
